This Throttle Lock Cruise Control Lever Kit is made for HONDA metric motorcycles (not other metrics though... for other metrics click here) that have the throttle cables coming out the bottom like on Harleys. Designed to hold the throttle at the desired RPM, easing stress on your throttle hand, it's still easily engaged or disengaged - even with heavy gloves!

Give your throttle hand a break! This is especially great for the long rides to the bike rallies! After using this you'll wonder how you ever got along without it! You probably let your clutch hand rest occasionally on your leg going down the road, so doesn't your throttle hand deserve a break, too?

This throttle lock lever kit includes the screw adaptor, tension spring and thumbwheel that doesn't come packaged with the Harley kits. I have one type for Hondas and one is for other metrics. Please note that these metric throttle lockers will only fit bikes that the throttle cables come directly out of the bottom of the housing. Example: The throttle cables have to come out the same as on the Harleys. All installation instructions are included with the metric kits.

Harleys don't need an adapter screw. Honda kits have a 7/8" long adapter screw and all other Metrics have a 1-1/4" long adapter screw

"Installation Instructions for Metric Motorcycles"
1. The drain hole under the throttle grip housing must be tapped using a 1/4-20 N.C. tap.
2. Install spring over the 1/4-20 thumb wheel screw.
3. Screw the 1/4-20 thumb wheel screw into threaded hole until the screw touches the throttle with a small amount of pressure "lightly".
4. Install throttle lock lever on thumb wheel and test throttle to insure proper release & tension.
